OTTAWA, Kan. – The (RV) Ottawa men's wrestling team is hitting the mats this Saturday at the Dordt Open. The Dordt Open will be in Crete, Nebraska.

Last time out for the Braves at the Grand View Open, Skyler Anderson and Kallen Koelzer each won a match in the 125lb weight division. Asher Larson secured two wins in the 141lb weight division and Colston Parks secured two wins in the 149lb weight class. Dustin Springfield Jr. picked up two wins in the 174lb weight class and Espyn Sweers won one in the 197lb.

Ottawa is Receiving Votes in the latest poll. Julian Gorring is 15^th overall in the 184lb weight class.

In 2024-25 at the Doane Open, Jayden Nowell won three matches on the day in the 141lb weight class, winning two by fall and one by technical fall. Asher Larson won one match in the 149lb weight division. Cale Hein won three matches in the 149lb weight class, wins on a technical fall, decision and a medical forfeit. Spencer Rochelle took down four opponents in the 184lb weight division, he defeated opponents from Northwestern (Iowa), St. Ambrose, Concordia and Hawkeye Community College.
