Bethel defeated OU 95-75 in North Newton on Jan. 18 and 82-76 in Wilson Field House on Feb. 15. Prior to that loss in Thresher Gymnasium on Jan. 18, Ottawa had won three straight games in North Newton. The first ever game between the two teams happened on Feb. 13, 1924 in North Newton. Bethel won the game 42-21. Ottawa and Bethel have played each other three times in the KCAC Tournament. OU has a record of 2-1 against Bethel. OU has won two straight versus BC in KCAC Tournament play. This will be the first time since Feb. 25, 1999 that the two teams have met in North Newton. Bethel won the game 54-52.
