Men's Lacrosse Begins Season at (RV) Siena Heights

Ottawa, KAN. - The Ottawa men's lacrosse team opens their season with a game at (RV) Siena Heights as the first of a two-game Michigan trip.
  • The Braves are in a new conference this season as they join the Heart of America Athletic Conference, along with KCAC members Midland, Missouri Baptist, and Columbia.
  • The Braves have a roster of thirteen, made up of three returners and ten newcomers.
  • Ottawa is coming off an 8-7 2024 season with a 3-1 record in the KCAC. The Braves also won the KCAC Tournament and earned their first ever trip to the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Invitational.
  • Siena Heights is 1-0 on the season with a 15-13 win over future Ottawa opponent William Woods on February 22. 
  • The Saints' leading goalscorers are Lachlan Conway and Sean Jablonski with three goals each. Brandon Hammer is Siena Heights' assists leader with three assists. Ethan Wissink is the Saints' leading faceoff taker, going 18-26 in Saturday's game.
  • Ottawa and Siena Heights have met twice, with the series being split at one game apiece. The first game was played in 2023, a 19-8 home win for Siena Heights. Ottawa returned the favor one year later with a 14-13 overtime win in the Braves' home opener.
