(RV) Women's Lacrosse Hosts (RV) Webber International in Home Opener

Ottawa, KAN. - The Ottawa women's lacrosse team continues their season with with their home opener against (RV) Webber International.

The Braves are coming off a 1-26 loss at the hands of (5) Benedictine last Saturday. Ashlyn Lopez scored Ottawa's lone goal.
Ashlyn Lopez is the Braves' goals leader with one, Eliza White is the groundballs leader with two.
Webber International is 1-1 on the season with an 18-1 home win over Montreat and a 2-21 road loss at (7) Keiser.
Benedictine is 2-0 on the season with a 21-11 win over NCAA Division II William Jewell and a 26-5 win over (RV) Marian.
Bryce Gerber is Webber's goals leader with five, as well as the Warriors draw controls leader with eleven, respectively. Gerber is the joint-assists leader with Haley Leavines, who both have two. Gerber and Jordyn Davidson are the joint-groundballs leaders with five each.
This is the first meeting between Ottawa and Webber International. Ottawa is 0-7 all time against teams in the Sun Conference.
This is the first of a four-game homestand for the Braves, who will host Sun Conference members (10) Ave Maria and (RV) St. Thomas on Sunday and Tuesday before hostings Midland on Thursday for their inaugural Heart of America Conference game.
