(RV) Women's Lacrosse at Mount Mercy

Ottawa, KAN. - The Ottawa women's lacrosse team heads to Cedar Rapids for a conference date at Mount Mercy.

The Braves are coming off a 4-20 loss to (9) Indiana Tech on Saturday. Brianna Valadao led Ottawa with two goals. Rilee Barnett and Ashlyn Lopez scored one each. KaiAnna Senne made one assist. Shelby Bearden made ten saves in goal.
Curstin Brown is Ottawa's goals leader with 13 goals. Ashlyn Lopez, KaiAnna Senne and Brianna Valadao are the joint-assists leaders with five each. Valadao is the groundballs leader with fourteen. Valadao and Rilee Barnett are the joint-draw controls leaders with fifteen each.
Mount Mercy is 0-1 on the season and 0-1 in conference play. Their only game played came on February 27, a 1-26 loss to (7) Missouri Baptist.
In the loss to Missouri Baptist, Princess Tacla scored the lone goal, and Mollie Lyon assisted that goal. Brooke Caffrey picked up three groundballs.
This will be the first ever meeting between Ottawa and Mount Mercy.
Mount Mercy is a relatively new program, with this season being just their second. The Mustangs are looking for their first program win.
With a win in this game, Kyle Beard would take sole possession of second place in total wins by an Ottawa women's lacrosse coach. He is currently tied with Brittany Frankenfeld with 17 wins.
