Softball Road Trips to McPherson on Sunday

The Braves were defeated by Friends University on Tuesday afternoon in Wichita to open KCAC play. Friends won game one in eight innings, 7-6, and game two 10-8.

In the loss to Friends on Tuesday afternoon, OU had four players hit over .500 or better in the double header. Addison Spencer was 4-for-6 (.667), Megan Kennedy 3-for-5 (.600), Kara Hafenstine 3-for-6 (.500), and Mallory Dunn 3-for-6 (.500).

Ottawa has an overall record of 10-14 and a KCAC mark of 0-2. The Braves are on a two game losing streak and have a record of 3-5 on the road this season.

This season, OU has scored 130 runs and hit seven home runs. Ottawa has a .294 batting average, a .375 on base percentage, and a .446 slugging percentage.

Macy Roever leads the Braves in batting average (.410) and stolen bases (27). Addison Spencer and Katie Enneking lead the team in RBI with 18 apiece. Cesara Roque is Ottawa's leader in ERA (3.52) and Lanie Becker is OU's leader in strike outs (17).
