Makela Martinez fell in three sets to Loes Peijenberg and Abi Williams 14-21, 21-14, 15-6 in no. 5 pairs.
Madison Brauner and
Bailee Nickel lost 21-18, 21-17 to Isabella Ceratti and Maria Pim in no. 1 pairs.
Asia Cole and
Brittan Lee were defeated 21-14, 21-17 in no. 2 pairs by Grecia Ung and Aly Anderson. In no. 3 pairs,
Hollie Peters and
Carson Schuman fell 21-17, 21-14 to Mafalda Bras and Luna Martins.
Elle Mitchell and
Samantha Stahl lost 21-13, 21-12 to Carla Pons Sales and P. Carrio Ubeda in no. 4 pairs. In an exhibition match,
Alexia Maynes and Samatha Young were defeated 21-14, 22-20.
Ottawa (4-5) returns to the court on Saturday, March 29 at McKendree University. The match is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.
