Hollie Peters won their no. 2 pairs match 21-18, 21-13 over Kiley Schanuel and Amber Williams. In no. 5 pairs,
Elle Mitchell and
Samantha Stahl defeated Katie Dawson and Jordan Christopher 21-23, 23-21, 15-9.
Alexia Maynes and
Samantha Young won their exhibition match 21-17, 15-21, 18-16.
Bailee Nickel and
Madison Brauner fell 21-15, 21-15, in no. 1 pairs.
Asia Cole and
Brittan Lee, competing in no. 3 pairs, fell 21-19, 21-16.
Brenna Diller and
Makela Martinez lost in three sets in no. 4 pairs to Mekanna Crawford and Bailey Williams 9-21, 21-12, 15-10.
Ottawa (4-6) returns to the sand on Thursday, April 3 against Park University at the Campus Courts. The teams will play two matches with the first starting at 11:00 a.m.
