Men's Lacrosse at Home Against (7) William Penn For Conference Opener

Ottawa, KAN. - The Ottawa men's lacrosse team begins conference play as they host (7) William Penn at AdventHealth Field.
  • The Braves are coming off a 0-26 loss at (8) Aquinas on Saturday. Dylan Murano made thirteen saves in goal for Ottawa. The Braves were 11-20 in clear attempts, and caused nine turnovers.
  • Braydon Francis and Mark Spells are Ottawa's joint-goals leaders with two each. Spells is the Braves' assists leader with one as well as the Braves' groundballs leader with eight. Francis is Ottawa's faceoff leader, going 8-21 (.381) on the season.
  • William Penn is 1-1 on the season, with a 24-8 against UM-Dearborn and a 17-19 loss to (6) Madonna. Both games were played at the Detroit Country Day Fieldhouse on February 17 and 18.
  • Breck Putzier is William Penn's goals and assists leader with nine and seven, respectively. Max Standage is the Statesmen's groundballs leader with 19. Kameron Brown is William Penn's faceoff leader, being 23-33 (.697) this season. The Statesmen have played four goalkeepers, but Matt Hollenbaugh has both starts for the team. He has a GAA of 16.04 and a save percentage of .313
