OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University women's tennis team defeated Southwestern College 5-0 on Thursday morning in Forest Park.
Paula Persson and
Valeria Rodriguez won their no. 1 doubles match 6-0 over Alexis Kersten and Natalie Blaufuss.
Rodriguez took her no. 1 singles match 6-0, 6-1 over Kersten. Persson defeated Blaufuss 6-1, 6-0 in no. 2 singles.
Alejandra Parra was her no. 3 singles match 6-1, 6-3 over Rosennscar Elie.
Camryn Medina earned a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Adin Bruna in no. 4 singles.
Ottawa (8-11, 6-3) returns to the court on Saturday, April 12 in Lindsborg, Kan. against Bethany College. The match is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.
