OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Ottawa University women's beach volleyball team finished fifth at the conference tournament on Friday. The Braves fell 3-2 to Texas Wesleyan University but defeated Oklahoma Wesleyan University 3-2.

Madison Brauner and Bailee Nickel defeated Amber Smart and Holland Hancock 21-18, 20-22, 15-10 in no. 3 pairs. Hollie Peters and Carson Schuman won their no. 4 pairs match 21-14, 21-17 over Hope Miller and Reagan Fitzsimmons.
 
Brenna Diller and Makela Martinez lost 21-10, 21-5 in no. 1 pairs to Victoria Smith and Kali Liva. Asia Cole and Brittan Lee fell in three sets 18-21, 21-14, 15-12 to Emily Lewis and Emily White. Elle Mitchell and Samantha Stahl fell 21-17, 21-17 in no. 5 pairs. Samantha Young and Alexia Maynes lost 21-13, 21-19 in their exhibition match.
