NORTH NEWTON, Kan. – The Ottawa University women's tennis team fell 6-1 to Bethel College on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Camryn Medina and Alejandra Parra won their no. 2 doubles match 6-4 over Patty Huerta and Grace Dawes. Valeria Rodriguez and Paula Persson were defeated 6-0 in no. 1 doubles by Daniela Casique and Daniela Herrera.
 
Parra won her no. 3 singles match 6-4, 4-6, 10-7 over Dawes. Rodriguez lost 6-2, 6-2 in no. 1 singles. Persson fell 6-7(4), 6-1, 10-8 in no. 2 singles. Medina lost 4-6, 6-1, 10-5 in no. 4 singles.
 
Ottawa (6-11, 4-3) returns to the court on Monday, April 7 against the University of Saint Mary in Forest Park. The match is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m.
