Women's Lacrosse Hosts Culver-Stockton to Close Out Home Slate

Ottawa, KAN. - The Ottawa women's lacrosse team looks for another conference win as they host Culver-Stockton in their home finale.

The Braves are 6-7 on the season and 5-1 in conference play.
Ottawa is coming off a 5-20 loss to Quincy on Thursday. Rilee Barnett, KaiAnna Senne, Brianna Valadao, Ashlyn Lopez, and Faith Ruoff scored one goal each. Senne made two assists, Barnett and Isabella Pagliei made one each. Eliza White made seven saves in goal, Shelby Bearden made three.
Rilee Barnett is Ottawa's goals leader with 33 goals. KaiAnna Senne is assists leader with 19. Brianna Valadao is the groundballs leader with 45. Barnett is the draw controls leader with 48.
Culver-Stockton is 7-6 on the season and 3-3 in conference play.
Culver-Stockton is on a two game losing streak, with 1-26 and 5-22 losses to (2) Benedictine and (8) Missouri Baptist earlier in the week.
The Wildcats' last win came on March 27, an 18-4 win at Midland.
Addison Holm and Kaelin Quarles are Culver-Stockton's joint-goals leaders with 56 goals each. Bella Olson is the Wildcats' assists leader with 21. Holm is the groundballs leader with 41.
Ottawa and Culver-Stockton have met four times, once in each of the last four seasons. Ottawa has won all four, including two in Ottawa. Last year's matchup was a 21-4 win for Ottawa in Canton.
With a win today, Ottawa would guarantee a top-three finish in the Heart of America Athletic Conference Standings, and would have a chance to finish second on Wednesday.
