OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University men's basketball program is pleased to announce the signing of Ashton Wheeler for the 2025-26 season. He is from Wauneta, Neb. and attends Wauneta Palisade High School.

Wheeler lettered in basketball, football, and track at Wauneta Palisade High School. He was a two-time Honorable Mention All-Conference selection for the Broncos.

Wheeler is the son of Marty and Renee Wheeler and plans to major in sports studies or exercise science.
