Sofball Road Trips to Sterling on Tuesday

The Braves have an overall record of 21-17, a KCAC mark of 11-5, are on a two game winning streak, and have a record of 9-5 on the road this season. OU enters Tuesday's game coming off a double header sweep of Bethany College at Alumni Park last Sunday afternoon. Ottawa won game one, 2-0, and took game two, 5-0.

Through 38 games this season, Ottawa has scored 215 runs and hit 13 home runs. OU has a .304 batting average, a .387 on base percentage, and a .452 slugging percentage.

Macy Roever leads the Braves in batting average (.426), Addison Spender is OU's leader in RBI (31), Roever is the team's leader in stolen bases (40), Cesara Roque leads OU in ERA (3.33), and Lanie Becker leads the team in strike outs (28).

Macy Roever was named KCAC Softball Player of the Week for the second time this season. She hit .571 (8-for-14), scored six runs, hit one double and two triples, drove in three runs, had a .929 slugging percentage, and a .571 on base percentage. Roever was 5-for-5 in stolen base attempts.

Ottawa is ranked 12th in the NAIA in at bats (1,025), 30th in runs (215), 30th in hits (312), 17th in doubles (62), first in triples (25), ninth in extra base hits (100), 18th in total bases (463), fourth in walks (126), 40th in sacrifice hits (25), 11th in stolen bases (96), 25th in caught stealing (11), and ninth in at bats against (1,012).

OU has a record of 9-6 on the road this season. The Braves have a .303 batting average, have scored 89 runs, hit 23 doubles, seven triples, and eight home runs. Ottawa has driven in 81 runs, has a .446 slugging percentage, walked 58 times, has a .391 on base percentage, and is 33-for-41 in stolen base attempts.

Sterling College is 25-9 overall, 12-2 in the KCAC, on a 12 game winning streak, and has a record of 15-1 at home this season. The last time the Warriors lost was a double header sweep by Kansas Wesleyan University on March 11. The Coyotes won game one, 5-2 and took game two, 3-2. Sterling enters Tuesday's game coming off a double header sweep of Bethany 3-0 and 9-0 on April 2.

Through 34 games this season, Sterling has scored 274 runs and hit 15 home runs. The Warriors have a .386 batting average, a .455 on base percentage, and a .552 slugging percentage.

Mariah Cunnigham leads Sterling in batting average (.487), RBI (35), and stolen bases (33). Reigning KCAC Pitcher of the Week, MacKenzie Viehland, leads the team in ERA (2.14) and strike outs (65).
