Women's Lacrosse Away at (8) Missouri Baptist

Ottawa, KAN. - The Ottawa women's lacrosse team closes out their regular season with a road game at (8) Missouri Baptist.

The Braves are 7-7 on the season and 6-1 in conference play.
Ottawa is coming off a 14-9 win over Culver-Stockton on Sunday. Rilee Barnett, Makayla Mason, and Ashlyn Lopez led Ottawa with three goals each. Brianna Valadao scored two, Lilliana Lopez, KaiAnna Senna, and Isabella Pagliei scored one each. Barnett and Valadao made two assists each, Senne made one. Eliza White made 11 saves in goal en route to a win.
Rilee Barnett is Ottawa's goals leader with 36 goals. KaiAnna Senne is assists leader with 20. Brianna Valadao is the groundballs leader with 50. Barnett is the draw controls leader with 48.
(8) Missouri Baptist is 11-5 on the season and 6-1 in conference play.
The Spartans are on a three-game winning streak, most recently a 29-0 shutout win over Midland on Saturday.
Mack Miller is Missouri Baptist's goals leader with 58 goals, while Lydia Cornett is the Spartans' assists and groundballs leader with 50 and 53, respectively.
Ottawa and Culver-Stockton have met nine times, and Missouri Baptist leads the series 7-2. The Spartans have also won each of the last six games, including both meetings last season by score of 15-8 in the regular season and 18-6 in the KCAC Tournament Championship.
Ottawa's last win in the series was a 14-8 victory in 2019 in Ottawa.
The Braves are 2-0 in games at Spartan Field against non-Missouri Baptist opponents, but they have never beat the Spartans there.
The winner of this game will clinch the second seed and a bye in the Heart of America Athletic Conference Tournament, the loser will be the third seed and will host a quarterfinal game.
