Softball Road Trips North for a Thursday Double Header at York

 The Braves have an overall record of 22-18, a KCAC mark of 12-6, are 10-6 on the road this season, and had their three game winning streak broken with a 2-0 loss to Sterling College in game two on Tuesday.

Through 40 games this season, Ottawa has scored 221 runs and hit 13 home runs. OU has a .304 batting average, a .386 on base percentage, and a .444 slugging percentage.

Ottawa is ranked seventh in the NAIA in at bats (1,080), 32nd in runs (221), 25th in hits (328), 20th in doubles (63), first in triples (25), 33rd in RBI (194), 10th in extra base hits (101), 17th in total bases (480), fifth in walks (131), seventh in stolen bases (102), 11th in caught stealing (14), and sixth in at bats against (1,060).

Macy Roever leads the Braves in batting average (.441) and stolen bases (45). Addison Spencer is OU's leader in RBI (32). Cesara Roque leads Ottawa in ERA (3.19) and Lanie Becker is the team's leader in strike outs (30).

Ottawa is ranked first in the NAIA in triples with 25. The school record for triples in a single season for the Braves is 30, set in 2021. OU's 102 stolen bases rank seventh in the NAIA and is fifth all-time in the OU record book. The record of 144 stolen bases set in 2010.

Macy Roever is just two stolen bases away from breaking the OU single season stolen base mark of 46 that was set in 2011 by Michelle Bowman. She sits at 45, which is ranked second in the NAIA.

The Braves have a record of 15-3 against York University and are on a nine game winning streak against the Panthers. Ottawa won both games of the double header last season in Ottawa on April 13 in five innings 8-0 and 11-0. The last time the Braves lost to York was on April 19, 2019 in York, 3-2. Ottawa has won the last four games between the two teams in York. The first ever game between Ottawa and York was at the Region IV Tournament in Bellevue, Neb. on May 10, 2007. OU won the game 4-2.

York University has an overall record of 8-28, a KCAC mark of 3-15, has lost four straight games, and is 1-6 at home this season. After defeating Southwestern College in Winfield on April 2, 5-4, the Panthers have double leader losses to Oklahoma Wesleyan University on April 6 and Tabor College on April 8.

Through 36 games this season, the Panthers have scored 96 runs and hit two home runs. York has a .249 batting average, a .326 on base percentage, and a .304 slugging percentage.

Nevaeh Reed leads York in batting average (.417) and RBI (18). Paige Chapman leads the team in stolen bases (9) and Chloe Lockhart is YU's leader in ERA (4.03) and strike outs (75).

York is ranked 13th in the NAIA in at bats against (1,003).

In the Panthers' seven home games this season, they have a .283 batting average, a .337 on base percentage, and a .340 slugging percentage.
