LINDSBORG, Kan. - The Ottawa women's tennis team competed at the KCAC Individual Championships on Friday and Saturday.
In the no. 1 singles bracket, Paula Perrson won her first match 8-1 over Amy Holloway from Tabor College before falling to Vanessa Hoffer from McPherson College, 1-8.
Alejandra Parra Herrera dropped her first match in the no. 2 singles bracket to Aneth Diaz from Friends University, 4-8.
Mariam Alli-Balogun also fell in her first match of the no. 3 singles bracket, 3-8, to Rylee Frye of Kansas Wesleyan University.
The doubles team of
Paula Persson and
Alejandra Parra Herrera were defeated in their first match of the no. 1 doubles bracket by Silva Avakian and Charlotta Klee of Friends University.
Ottawa returns to the court again at the ITA Regional Championships in Salina, Kansas from September 26-28.
