OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University women's wrestling team is headed to the KCAC Championships on Friday in Leavenworth, Kansas.
Last time out, Ottawa battled at the Jimmy May Open.
Sydnee Baldwin secured third place in the 110lb weight class, Baldwin won four matches at the Open. Alejandra Mezana placed fourth in the 110lb weight division, Mezana won four matches before falling in the third place match.
Peyton Hand secured third place in the 124lb weight division, Hand went 5-1 on the day.
Siara Arrington placed fourth overall in the 180lb weight class, Arrington took down five opponents. In the 207lb weight division,
KyLee Lindsley earned second place and won three matches before coming up short in the championship.
Faith Spicer finished fourth overall in the 207lb as well.
Ottawa moves up to ninth in the country.
Aynsley Fink is eighth in the 103lb weight division.
Sydnee Baldwin moves into the rankings at #19 in the 110lb weight division.
Addison Saporito is 17
th in the 117lb weight class.
Aileen Lester is 12
th in the 138lb.
Darby Weidl is seventh in the 160lb weight division.
Hannah Jackson is fourth in the 180lb and
Siara Arrington is ninth. In the 207lb weight division,
Kena Leonard is 17
th and
KyLee Lindsley is 20
th.

Dalton Weidl was named KCAC Coach of the Year.
Aynsley Fink placed second in the 110lb weight division, she went 2-1 in her matches.
Kendall Martin won both of her matches in the 117lb weight division, one by technical fall and fall.
Peyton Hand won the 124lb weight class, Hand went 2-0 winning her matches by technical fall and fall.
Emma Truex went 2-0 and won the 131lb weight class. Going 3-0 and winning first place in the 138lb weight class was
Livia Swift.
Darby Weidl and
Abigail Sebesta placed in the 160lb weight class, Weidl went 2-1 and placed second and Sebesta earned third by going 3-1.
Siara Arrington came in first place in the 180lb and
Kaylee Davis earned third place, Arrington went 2-0 and Davis went 3-2.
Hannah Jackson earned first place in the 207lb and
Kena Leonard placed second in the 207lb as well.
