WICHITA, Kan. – The Ottawa University women's wrestling team secured a KCAC Championship on Friday. The Braves earned a Co-Championship with Wayland Baptist.
Dalton Weidl was named KCAC Coach of the Year for the second straight season.
Aynsley Fink won the 103lb weight division and was a KCAC Champion, Fink won all three matches at the Championships.
Addison Saporito earned second place in the 117lb weight division, she went 3-1 on the day.
Sigrun Metzger placed fourth in the 117lb weight class and won three matches as well.
Peyton Hand secured fourth place in the 124lb weight division, Hand won two matches.
Aileen Lester took home second place in the 138lb weight class, Lester went 4-1.
Darby Weidl placed second at the Championships in the 160lb weight division, Weidl won four matches.
Justice Thomas also placed in the 160lb weight class, Thomas won three matches on the day.
Hannah Jackson was a KCAC Champion in the 180lb weight division, Jackson defeated three opponents.
Siara Arrington placed second overall in the 180lb weight class, winning three matches.
Kena Leonard secured third place in the 207lb weight division, Leonard defeated three opponents.
KyLee Lindsley placed sixth also in the 207lb weight division, Lindsley defeated two opponents at the Championships.
