LEAVENWORTH, Kan. - The (20) Braves wasted no time taking control on Tuesday morning, erupting for eight runs in the first inning on their way to a dominant 13–3 victory over University of Saint Mary at the USM Baseball Field.
Ottawa's offense was relentless from the opening pitch, collecting 15 hits and drawing five walks while striking out zero times. The Braves put the game out of reach early with an explosive first inning and never looked back.
The Braves plated eight runs on eight hits in the first inning alone. RBI hits from
Julius Ryan,
Jose Vega, Jeremy Freeman, and
Dylan Snead, along with a solo home run from
Jesus Rodriguez, quickly gave Ottawa an 8–0 advantage.
