OTTAWA, Kan. - The Ottawa University baseball team unleashed one of its most explosive offensive performances of the season on Sunday afternoon at Alumni Park, powering past Bethany College 21–10 in seven innings. The Braves pounded out 17 hits and scored in five different innings, including a 10-run seventh inning that blew the game wide open.

Bethany struck first in the opening inning, but Ottawa responded in the second when
Jose Vega lifted a sacrifice fly to center field to tie the game.
The Braves' offense erupted in the third inning.
Dylan Snead delivered a two-run double to tie the game before
Julius Ryan drove in a run with a sacrifice fly.
Dane Lujan capped the rally with a solo home run to give Ottawa a 5-3 lead.
Ottawa continued its surge in the fourth inning. Snead launched a three-run homer to center, and
Jesus Rodriguez followed with a solo shot to push the Braves' lead to 9-4. Lujan added another RBI with a sacrifice fly later in the inning.
Bethany fought back and cut the deficit to 10-9 after a three-run homer in the fifth inning, but Ottawa responded again in the sixth when Lujan drove in
Julius Ryan with a single.
Ottawa scored 10 runs in the seventh inning, highlighted by RBI hits from
Kaiden Hoapili and
Branden Franz, and a two-run home run by
Declan Brown.
Bethany added a solo home run in the bottom of the inning, but Ottawa's offense had already done the damage as the Braves secured the 21-10 victory.
