William Jewell College: As a junior he had 39 tackles with 25 solos. Fuentes had 6.5 tackles for loss for 16 yards and two pass breakups. Finished his sophomore season with 14 tackles and had four tackles as a freshman.

High School: Was a two-time All-District performer at Bushland High School under coach Josh Reynolds...Led the Falcons to three consecutive district championships and back-to-back bi-district titles...Also participated in cross country and was a 2019 regional qualifier...Was a standout in the classroom as a four-time Superintendent Scholar...Member of National Honor Society...Student body president...Also earned awards in jazz band and ensemble...Led his marching band to three straight regional championships
