Rockhurst University: At Rockhurst University, Ford played in 20 games for the Hawks. She averaged 2.5 points and one rebound per game.

North Central Missouri College: While at NCMC, Ford helped lead the Pirates to two trips to the NJCAA National Tournament where they finished sixth in 2021-22 and seventh in 2022-23. She was a two-time NJCAA First Team All-American. In 88 games, Ford averaged 15.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 2.6 steals per game. She shot 41.5 percent from the floor, 36.3 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 79.1 percent from the free throw line. Ford scored 1,382 points in her career at NCMC.
