Antelope Valley College: Assiff spent three years at AVC. He averaged 7.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. Assiff shot 42.5 percent from the floor, 28.4 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 66.7 percent from the free throw line. He was Honorable Mention All-Tournament Team.

High School: Assiff lettered in basketball at Valencia High School. He was a two-time All-League selection.
