Biography

Indoor 2013: Anderson helped lead the Lady Braves to a fifth place finish at the KCAC Indoor Track and Field Championships held on the campus of K-State University. Anderson ran a personal best 8.45 in the 60M twice with the last being at the KCAC Track and Field Championships. She also had a personal best jump of 33-04.75 in the triple jump at the Concordia Classic (1/27).

Outdoor 2012: Anderson earned All-KCAC honors as member of the 4x100M Relay team. They ran a time of 51.49 to finish third at the KCAC Track and Field Championships. Anderson ran a personal best time in the 100M of 12.99 to finish sixth at the Wendy’s Tabor College Invitational (4/18).

High School: Anderson is a letter winner in track and cheerleading for Wichita Southeast High School. She was named Student of the Month. On the track, Anderson competed in the 100M, the 200, the 4x100, and the long jump.

Personal: Daughter of Corey and Yvette Wright ... born January 2, 1993 ... elementary education major. Her brothers, Clarence and Donald, Anderson both attended OU. Clarence was an NAIA All-American on the football field and on the track. He holds three track school records. Donald is a two-time First Team All-KCAC selection, was named BSN NAIA Defensive Player of the Year, earned AFCA First Team All-American, and was named KCAC Defensive Player of the year at defensive back for the Braves football team. Anderson is also a member of the OU spirit team. She enjoys eating pizza, watching the television show "Bad Girls", and her favorite movie is "Babe."
