Tiffin University: In 2024, he played in nine games and completed 6 of 7 passes for 94 yards and one touchdown ... Also ran the ball 9 times for 22 yards. As a freshman in 2023, Ray played in eight games and completed 76 passes in 115 attempts for a total of 1,064 yards and threw eight touchdown passes. Also ran the ball 25 times for 74 yards. Recorded at least one touchdown pass in three straight games from 10/21-11/4. Recorded a season-high 32 rushing yards against Walsh and completed a season-high in completed passes (26), passing attempts (39), and passing yards (333) in the home NCAA postseason game against Slippery Rock.

Junior year- 1500 yards passing, 800 yards rushing, Honorable Mention all-conference and all-district. Senior year- 1,262 yards passing, 1,275 yards rushing, and 29 total touchdowns in 9 games, First Team all-conference, SBC Player of the Year, First Team all-district, Second Team all-Ohio.
