2014-15: Romig played and started in 29 games and earned All-KCAC honors for the second straight season with her Second Team selection. She averaged 13.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game. Romig finished the season ranked 39th in NAIA Division II in total blocks (37) and 43rd in blocks per game (1.3). She scored a career high 28 points against the University of Saint Mary (2/7), tallied a career high 16 rebounds versus Kansas Wesleyan University (2/19), and had a career high four blocks against Bethel College (2/14). Romig scored in double figures in 22 out of 29 games and finished the year with five double-doubles.
2013-14: In her first collegiate season, Romig appeared in 29 games with 28 starts on her way to being named KCAC Freshman of the Year and Third Team All-KCAC. She averaged 11.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. Romig shot 49.6 percent from the floor and 74.6 percent from the free throw line. She made her first career start and scored her first career point against College of the Ozarks (11/1). Romig recorded her first career double-double against Kansas Wesleyan University (12/7), finishing the season with four double-doubles. She scored a career high 27 points against Bethany College (2/1), had a career high 15 rebounds versus Kansas Wesleyan University (12/7), had a career high two assists against Benedictine College (11/16), had a career high two blocks three times with the last being against McPherson College (2/15), and she had a career high six steals against Southwestern College (2/20).
High School: Romig earned four letters in basketball and volleyball for Waverly High School. She helped led the Bulldogs to the 2012-13 Kansas State Basketball Tournament at Emporia State University and to the 2011 and 2012 Kansas State Volleyball Tournament at Fort Hays State University. She played in the 2013 KBCA All-Star Game held at Washburn University and the 2013 Optimist All-Star Game held at Emporia State University. As a senior, Romig averaged 22.8 points and 14.3 rebounds in 22 games for WHS. She shot 32.1 percent from the 3-pt line, 44.6 percent from the floor, and 70.1 percent from the free throw line. Romig tallied 76 blocks, took two charges, had 67 steals, and 50 assists. She earned First Team Unanimous All-Lyon County League, was named Second Team All-State All-Classes, recognized as the Kansas 1A D1 Player of the Year, earned First Team All-State 1A D1 honors, and was one of 10 finalists for the Wendy's Heisman award. Romig excelled in the classroom as well. She earned High Honors and the President's Education Award three times. She also earned Outstanding Academic Achievement for Exemplary on her Math State Assessments.
