2016: As a sophomore, Torres appeared in 19 games for the Braves. He scored one goal, taking 33 shots with 13 of them being on goal.

2015: Torres played in 16 games, making 14 starts as a freshman. He scored two goals and tallied four assists for eight points. Torres took 17 shots with nine of them on goal. He scored his first career goal against Avila University and earned his first career assist versus Oklahoma Wesleyan University.

High School: Torres was a four year letterman at Dr. Henry A Wise Jr. High School on the soccer pitch. He helped lead the Pumas to the regional and state championship game. In 2014 Torres played ODP Region 1 and NCSL Division 1. In NCSL, he finished the season with nine assists and two goals with ASA FCI America. Torres was selected to play in an all-star game where he helped his team to a 4-1 victory. In 2015 he helped his soccer team to a MAC Tournament Championship and helped lead the Blackhawks to the National President Cup Final. Mendez also helped ASA FCI American ’97 to a MSSL Championship.
