High School: Gonzalez was a four year letterman on the soccer field for Deer Creek High School. He played club soccer for Oklahoma FC under head coach Toni Orsi. At DCHS, Gonzalez helped lead the Antlers to a 2015 Oklahoma 5A State Championship and a 2016 Oklahoma 6A District 4 Championship. For Oklahoma FC, helped captain the 99 White team. He scored 57 goals for 98/99 Oklahoma FC White. Gonzalez helped Oklahoma FC 98/99 White to a 2013/2014, 2015, and 2016/17 Oklahoma Premier League Championship. He helped lead Oklahoma FC 98/99 White to the Beat The Heat Regional Championship in 2013, 2015, and 2016. Gonzalez helped lead them to a 2014 Texas Lightning Showcase first place finish, a 2014 Tulsa Friendship Cup Championship, a 2014 and 2016 USYS Oklahoma President Cup Championship, a 2014 and 2016 USYS Region 3 President Cup Championship, a 2016 first place finish at the Showcase of the South, a 2016 Adidas Sam Shannon Showcase first place finish, and to a 2016 National Premier League South Central League finalist. In 2015 he was part of Oklahoma ODP Region 3.
