He was a three-time state qualifier, earned first at the Garden Plain Tournament, finished third at the City League Championship in 2013, placed fourth at the 2014 City League Championship, finished third at the Bishop Carroll Tournament in 2014, and placed second at Wellington in 2012 and first in 2013 and 2014.
