2018: Cox played in 49 sets in her first season as a Brave. She finished the year with 48 kills, a .196 attacking percentage, two assists, 12 digs, and 14 blocks. Cox had a career high 13 kills against Trinity Christian College and a career bests .667 attacking percentage versus Hastings College.
Johnson County Community College: Cox appeared in 17 matches and 37 sets for the Cavilers as a freshman. She finished the season with 24 kills, 16 assists, 19 digs, and nine blocks. Cox had a season high six kills against Hesston College (10/27).
High School: Cox was a four year letterman on the volleyball court at Norton Community High School. She also lettered in basketball and track. Cox earned First Team All-Mid Continent League honors as a senior, was a Second Team selection as a freshman and junior, and earned Honorable Mention honors as a sophomore. She was named Max Preps AVCA Player of the Week during her senior season. Cox was selected as a Northwest Kansas All-Star as a senior. She helped lead NCHS to a third place finish at the 2016 Kansas 3A State Tournament. In four years, she had 1,056 kills, 697 digs, 148 blocks, 379 assists, and 149 service aces. As a senior, Cox finished with 430 kills, 248 digs, and 55 service aces. On the basketball court, she was named Second Team All-MCL, helping the Bluejays to a third place finish at the Kansas 3A State Tournament has sophomore season. Cox ran a leg on the NCHS 400M Relay team that set the school record at the Regional Tournament her junior season (50.55). She helped the 400M Relay Team to a fifth place finish at the Kansas 3A State Tournament and finished second, individually, in the 200M. Cox was the Mid-Continent League champion in the 200M and place second in the 100M as a junior. She excelled off the court as well as she was named to the honor roll all four years. Cox was a National Honor Society member, a four-time scholastic letter winner, was named to the Kansas Volleyball Association All-Academic team four times, and was a Mid-Continent League All-Academic Team selection.
Personal: Daughter of Clark and Peggy Cox. She played club volleyball for Western Kansas Elite under coaches Natausha Dreher and Don Fenwick. Cox has three brothers and two sisters. Her sister Chelsea played volleyball at Kansas State University while her other sister Courtney competed in volleyball and track at Ottawa University. Courtney earned All-KCAC honors in the javelin for the Braves and was a NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championship qualifier.
