Ottawa University

2018-19: As a sophomore, McAvoy appeared in 27 games and made five starts. She averaged four points and 1.9 rebounds per game. McAvoy shot 22.9 percent from the floor, 20.8 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 86.2 percent from the free throw line. She scored a season high 16 points against Bethany College and had a season high four rebounds versus Friends University.

2017-18: McAvoy appeared in 21 games and made one start as a freshman. She averaged 3.9 points and 1.6 rebounds per game. McAvoy shot 23.2 percent from the floor, 21.7 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 82.9 percent from the free throw line. She scored a career high 26 points against Friends University and a career high five rebounds twice with the last against York College.

High School: McAvoy lettered in basketball, soccer, and golf at Shawnee Mission South. She earned Honorable Mention All-League honors and was named HyVee Athlete of the Week. McAvoy was seventh in the Sunflower League in scoring. As a senior, she shot 37.2 percent from the floor and 70.5 percent from the free throw line.
