He is tied for eighth in the OU record book in top 10 season falls (6), seventh in top 10 season dual winning percentage (.600), and is tied for second in single season wins at 149 pounds (9).

2016-17: Aldrich finished his freshman season with an overall record of 7-13. He finished the year with seven falls. Aldrich went 2-3 in dual meets. He has put his name in the OU single season record book. Aldrich is ranked fifth in single season falls (7), is tied for third for the most wins by a freshman (7), and is second in wins by weight (149lb) with seven.

High school: Aldrich was a four year letterman in wrestling and earned one letter in cross country for Shawnee Mission East High School. He was a four-time Kansas 6A Wrestling State participant placing sixth as a junior and fifth as a senior.
