Biography

Outdoor 2019: Vaughn earned NAIA All-American honors in the 200M, running a time of 24.50. She was the KCAC Champion in the 100M, setting a new KCAC and OU school record mark of 11.81. Vaughn finished ninth at the NAIA Championships in the 100M with a time of 11.86. She earned All-KCAC honors in the 200M with a time of 24.45 to place second. Vaughn had a personal best and OU school record time in the 400M of 56.21 at the Zach Kindler Open. She was part of the 4x100M and 4x400M Relay teams. The 4x100M Relay team had a season’s best mark of 50.71 at the Zach Kindler Open. At the KCAC Championships, the 4x400M Relay team finished with a time of 4:13.65.

Indoor 2019: For the second straight season, Vaughn competed in the NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships. She placed ninth, one place out of NAIA All-American honors in the 60M with a time of 7.64. Vaughn won the KCAC Championship in the 60M with a KCAC meet mark of 7.69. She earned All-KCAC honors in the 200M with a time of 25.74. Vaughn also earned All-KCAC honors in the 400M with a time of 1:00.91.

Oudoor 2018: In her first collegiate outdoor season, Vaughn qualified for the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships in the 100M and the 200M. She finished 18th in the 100M with a time of 12.18. Vaughn placed 30th in the 200M, running a time of 25.53. She earned All-KCAC honors and was the conference champion in the 100M with a season’s best time of 12.10. Vaughn earned All-KCAC honors in the 200M with a time of 24.97, setting a then new school record. She also broke the school record in the 400M, running a time of 59.00 at the Zach Kindler Open. Vaughn was an All-KCAC performer in the triple jump, finishing with a person best mark of 10.76M.

Indoor 2018: Vaughn competed at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships in the 60M. She finished the race in a time of 7.87. At the KCAC Championships Vaughn earned All-KCAC honors in the triple jump, finishing fifth with an attempt of 34-06.25. She placed 10th in the 400M with a time of 1:03.36 at the KCAC Championships. Vaughn earned All-KCAC honors in the 200M with a time of 26.17 to finish fifth. She earned All-KCAC honors in the 60M Dash with a time of 7.98, finishing fifth.

High School: Vaughn attended Mesquite High School. She lettered in cross country and track for the Mosquitos. Vaughn ran the 400M and the 200M.
