Biography

Outdoor 2019: At the Tabor Invitational, Clayton ran a time of 5:22.02 in the 1500M. She earned All-KCAC honors in the 5000M with a time of 19:20.87 at the KCAC Championships. Clayton was part of the 4x800M Relay team at the KCAC Championships. They finished the race in a time of 11:12.41.

Indoor 2019: Clayton ran a time of 5:40.37 in the mile at the Lion Open. She finished Crimson & Gold Invitational with a time of 11:13.53 in the 3000M.

High School: Clayton is a three year letter winner in cross country and earned four letters in track for Roosevelt High School. She also earned one letter in swimming and was a four-time academic award winner. Clayton earned all-conference honors in track and was named on the all-state team for cross country. She earned First Team Academic All-State honors. Clayton was Named Best Prep for Cross Country by the Greeley Tribune. On the track, Clayton competed in the 800M, the 1600M, the 3200M, and the 400M.  She was a member of the 4x800M and 4x400M Relay teams.

Personal: Daughter of Dwight and Sharon Clayton ... exercise science and psychology major. Her older brother, AJ Clayton, was a four year letterman on the OU baseball team.
