Biography

2023-24: As a sophomore, McLaren had an overall record of 3-4 and competed in the 165 pound weight class. He had one fall.

2022-23: McLaren finished his first collegiate season with a record of 6-6 and had two falls and one technical fall.

High School: McLaren lettered in wrestling at Glenn High School. He was a four-time state qualifier. McLaren won the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Texas Class 5A 170 pound weight class championship, becoming the first state champion in any sport for GHS.

Personal: Son of Derrick and Stephanie McClaren ... psychology major.
