He is tied for sixth in the OU career record book in wins in the 157 pound weight class (17).

2023-24: Mitchell competed at 157 pounds (17-7) and 165 pounds (0-2) in his first season as a Brave. He qualified for the NAIA National Championships at 157 and earned All-KCAC honors. Mitchell had a record of 5-4 in duals and had 14 falls. He is ranked seventh in the OU record book in single season falls (14), is tied for fifth in single season wins in the 157 pound weight class (17),

North Idaho Community College: Mitchell was a NJCAA National Finalist.

High School: Mitchell was a COVID State Placer at Mead High School and also placed at a second State Tournament.

Personal: Son of Chris Mitchell and Diane Mitchell...elementary education major.
