High School: Ratzlaff lettered in basketball at Hillsboro High School. He finished his four year career at HHS as the program’s all-time leader in scoring and assists. Ratzlaff scored 1,000 points during his junior season. He helped the Trojans to a 2020-21 and 2021-22 Kansas State 2A Championship and to a 2019-20 Kansas State 2A Forever 4 appearance. Ratzlaff was named the Kansas State 2A Most Outstanding Player of Tournament in 2020-21 and 2021-22. He was selected to play in the Hutchinson Community College All-Star Game and the KBCA All-Star Game. In 2022-23, Ratzlaff was named First Team Kansas All-State by Sports in Kansas, KSHSAA Covered, the Wichita Eagle, an the KBCA. He finished his career with 1,436 points, 282 rebounds, 365 assists, and 179 steals.

Personal: Son of Micah and Amanda Ratzlaff ... undecided on a major. He played travel ball for Oz Elite under coach Roger Haynes.
