In her two seasons as a Brave, Valdez has played in 69 matches. She has 931 kills, averaging 3.7 kills per set, a .372 attacking percentage, 10 assists, 17 service aces, 135 digs, and 243 blocks. Valdez is ranked 10^th in the OU career record book in kills (951), tied for second in kills per set (3.7), third in attacking percentage (.374), 10^th in block assists (194), tied for 10^th in solo blocks (49), and 10^th in career blocks (243).

2023: Valdez played in 33 matches in her second season as a Brave, earning First Team NAIA All-American honors. She was named First Team AVCA NAIA West Central Region, First Team All-KCAC and was a five-time KCAC Attacker of the Week selection. Valdez finished the season with 510 kills, a .421 attacking percentage, 16 service aces, 93 digs, and 133 blocks. She had a career high 29 kills and seven digs against Sterling College and nine blocks versus Missouri Valley College. Valdez is ranked fifth in the NAIA in kills (510), ninth in kills per set (4.11), first in attacking percentage (.423), 18^th in block assists (108), 11^th in total blocks (133), 41^st in blocks per set (1.07), fourth in points (605.0) and seventh in points per set (4.9).

2022: Valdez played in 36 matches, earning NAIA Honorable Mention All-American honors. She was a First Team AVCA West Central Region selection and was named First Team All-KCAC. Valdez finished the season with 421 kills, a .321 attacking percentage, eight assists, one service ace, 42 digs, and 110 blocks. She earned KCAC Attacker of the Week three times. Valdez had a season high 22 kills against Taylor University and eight blocks versus Grand View University.

Lindsey Wilson College: In two seasons at LWC, Valdez had 493 kills, a 2.7 kills per set average, an attacking percentage of .401, 154 blocks, and 51 digs. In 2021, she was named Honorable Mention NAIA All-American, First Team AVCA All-Southeast Region, First Team All-Mid-South Conference. As a freshman in 2020, Valdez was named Honorable Mention All-Region and earned Mid-South Freshman of the Year Honors.

Navarro College: Attended NC for one season.

High School: Centro Educativo Metas. Played in the 2016 Copa Claro, the 2018 Juegos Nacionales, the 2018 Juegos de Las Mariposas, and the 2019 Juvenil. She was named Best Blocker.

Personal: Daughter of Belarminia Valdez Cabrera … communication major. Played club volleyball for Club VoleyBani under coach Vladimir Lara.
