2017: Mead finished the season with a record of 7-3 with a 7.78 ERA and earned Honorable Mention All-KCAC honors. He appeared in 13 games, making 11 starts. Mead pitched in 61.1 innings, striking out 65.
2016: Mead appeared in 10 games, making 10 starts and finishing with a 3-6 record. He pitched in 44.2 innings, striking out 41.
2015: In an injury shortened season, Mead appeared in three games on the mound. He had a 4.61 ERA in 13.1 innings pitched. Mead struck out 16 and opponents had a .263 batting average before taking a medical redshirt.
University of Illinois - Springfield: Mead appeared in 14 games and made six starts for the Prairie Stars. He finished with a record of 4-0, pitched one complete game, had an ERA of 2.03, pitched in 44.1 innings, had 52 strikeouts and opponents had a .228 batting average against him. Mead pitched in a career high nine innings twice with the last being against Wisconsin-Parkside (4/18). He had a career high eight strikeouts versus Robert Morris Springfield (3/26). Mead broke UIS strikeout record last season and broke the ERA for innings pitched record. Mead helped the Prairie Stars to their first appearance in the GLVC Tournament in program history.
High School: At Roosevelt High School, Mead was a three year letterman on the diamond. He earned All-District honors.
