2021: Boan played and started in 45 games on his way to being named Second Team All-KCAC. He twice was named KCAC Player of the Week. Boan hit .364, scored 35 runs, had 59 hits, tallied eight doubles, two triples, 15 home runs, drove in 57, had a .716 slugging percentage, walked 23 times, was hit by a pitch three times, had a .447 on base percentage, and stole two bases. He finished the year ranked 35th in the NAIA in home runs per game (0.3), 37th in RBI per game (1.2), and 47th in home runs (15).
Coastal Alabama Community College: Boan appeared in 61 games in two years, finishing with a .321 batting average, 21 runs scored, 44 hits, six doubles, one triple, eight home runs, drove in 26 runs, walked 18 times, had a .414 on base percentage, and a .555 slugging percentage. In 2020, he appeared in 22 games. Boan finished with a .345 batting average, 15 runs scored, seven home runs, 14 RBI, 7 walks, a .463 on base percentage, and had a .764 slugging percentage. As a freshman in 2019, he played in 39 games for CACC. Boan had a .305 batting average, six runs scored, 12 RBI, 11 walks, had a .379 on base percentage, and finished with a .415 slugging percentage.
High School: Boan lettered in baseball a Ezekiel Academy. He led the Knights to a 2017 and 2015 ACSC Baseball State Championship and to four state tournament appearances. Boan was a four time All-Conference and All-Tournament team selection and was named Tournament MVP.
