2024: Franz played in eight games at the varsity level as a freshman. He had a .500 batting average (2-for-4), scored two runs, had a .500 slugging percentage, a .500 on base percentage, and was 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts.

High School: Franz lettered in baseball and videography at Catalina Foothills High School. He helped his team to a state runner up finish his senior season and was selected to play in an All-Star Game. Franz was an All-Region selection as a senior.

Personal: Son of Melanie and David Franz ... communication major. Franz played travel ball for Hills Baseball under coach Nicco Blank.
