Biography

2012-13: Newton played in four games in his first season as a Brave. He had a career high two rebounds against the University of Saint Mary (1/12).

Neosho Community College: Newton lettered in basketball at NCCC. He averaged 4.6 points and 1.6 rebounds his sophomore season for the Panthers. Newton appeared in 18 games, shooting 48 percent from the floor and 48 percent from behind the three point line.

High School: At Colony Crest High School, Newton was an all-state and all-league selection for the Lancers.
