2020: As a sophomore, Kearney played and started in 21 games for the Braves. She had 19 hits in 59 at bats for a .322 batting average. Kearney scored 15 runs, hit two doubles, one triple, and two homeruns. She drove in 16 runs, walked 12 times, one stolen base, two sacrifice flies, two sacrifice bunts, two hit by pitch, a .440 on base percentage, and a .508 slugging percentage.
2019: Kearney appeared in 46 games, making 43 starts on her way to being named Honorable Mention All-KCAC. She was named to the KCAC Gold Glove team for her efforts at shortstop. Kearney had 46 hits in 134 at bats for a .343 batting average. She scored 36 runs, hit 10 doubles, and three triples. Kearney drove in 33 runs, walked 13 times, had a .404 on base percentage, and a .463 slugging percentage.
High School: Kearney lettered in basketball, volleyball, and softball at Valley Falls High School. She helped the Dragons to the 2016 Kansas 2A Softball State Championship. Kearney was a three-time All-League selection for VFHS. She was a two-time First Team All-State selection and earned Second Team All-State honors once.
