Biography

2014-15: Thomas played and started in 29 games her junior year. She averaged 7.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. Thomas shot 36.5 percent from the floor, 25.5 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 76.3 percent from the free throw line. She scored a career high 19 points against Avila University (11/25), snagged a career high 10 rebounds versus Bethany College (1/28), had a career high four assists against Sterling College (1/24), and had a career high three steal versus Tabor College (1/21).

2013-14: In her sophomore season, Thomas appeared in 29 games and averaged 3.8 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. She shot 33.6 percent from the floor, 30.2 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 65.8 percent from the free throw line. Thomas scored a season high eight points against Bethel College (12/14), had a season high seven rebounds versus Bethany College (12/12), had a season high two assists three times with the last being against Southwestern College (2/20), finished with a season high two blocks against MidAmerica Nazarene University (11/5), and had a season high two steals twice with the last against Kansas Wesleyan University (1/29).

2012-13: Thomas played in 27 games as a freshman for the Lady Braves. She averaged 1.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per game coming off of the bench. Thomas scored a season high seven points against Bethel College (2/7) and had a season high five rebounds against College of the Ozarks (10/30).

High School: Thomas was a four year letter winner in basketball and she also earned letters in cross country and volleyball. She spent her final two years of high school attending Oklahoma Union High School. Thomas earned all-conference and all-tournament team honors. She was an all-state selection in 2012, earned OCA All-Region honors, and was a First Team selection by Tip-Off Magazine. Thomas helped lead her high school team to three state tournament appearances. In her sophomore and freshman seasons, she attended South Gray High School. At SGHS she helped lead them to a 27-1 record and a state runner up as a freshman. During her sophomore season, Thomas helped lead SGHS to a state championship with a 28-0 record. At Oklahoma Union, she helped lead the Cougars to the state quarterfinals with a record of 25-2. Thomas averaged 14 points and eight rebounds while shooting 47 percent from the floor as a senior. She was named her team’s Co-MVP. On the volleyball court, she helped lead the Cougars to the state quarterfinals and she was named the team’s Defensive Player of the Year.

Personal: Daughter of Billy and Angie Thomas ... born December 11, 1993.... biology major. Her uncle and aunt, Tess and Kelly (Bethell) Smith, are OU graduates. Tess played basketball for OU head men’s coach Andy Carrier and Kelly played basketball for OU women’s head coach Bruce Tate and OU athletic director Arabie Conner.
