2018-19: As a junior, Hughes appeared in 28 games and made 23 starts. She averaged 8.4 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. Hughes shot 37.8 percent from the floor, 34 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 83.5 percent from the free throw line. She scored a career high 30 points and a career high six assists against Southwestern College.
2017-18: Hughes played in 28 games, making 26 starts. She averaged 6.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. Hughes shot 32.4 percent from the floor, 25.6 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 74.1 percent from the free throw line. She scored a season high 15 points, twice, with the last being against Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Hughes pulled down a career high eight rebounds against Haskell Indian Nations University.
2016-17: In her freshman season, Hughes appeared in 31 games off of the bench for the Braves. She averaged 1.9 points and 0.8 rebounds per game. Hughes shot 32.1 percent from the floor, 31 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 93.3 percent from the free throw line. She pulled down 26 rebounds, had 11 assists, and finished with nine steals. Hughes scored a season high seven points against Avila University and had a season high four rebounds versus Tabor College.
High School: Hughes was a three year letterman on the basketball court for Shawnee Mission North High School. She also earned one letter in cross country for the Indians. Hughes earned All-Tournament Team honors at the Capital City Tournament and was a Third Team All-Sunflower League selection.
