Outdoor 2012: At the Mule Relays (4/20), Buckles placed 10^th with a toss of 105-09 in the javelin. She threw a personal best of 112 feet at the Wendy’s Tabor College Invitational (4/18). Buckles had a throw of 103-02 to finish 17^th at the State Farm ESU Relays (4/7). She finished 13^th at the PSU Wendy’s Open in the javelin with a throw of 106-02.
 
Outdoor 2011: Finished fourth at the Bulldog Invite in the javelin with a toss of 103-11. She placed sixth in the javelin with a throw of 106-03 at the Wildcat Open. Buckles earned All-KCAC honors with a toss of 104-02 in the javelin at the KCAC Track and Field Championships.

Outdoor 2010: In her freshman season, Buckles competed in two events in the javelin, finishing ninth at the Bulldog Invitational and 12th at the Baker College Relays.

High School: Buckles earned two letters in basketball and track for the Trailblazers of Gardner-Edgerton High School.

Personal: Daughter of Mark and Julie Sutton ... born March 18, 1991... elementary education major. Buckles’ favorite food is steak, television show is "One Tree Hill," and she likes the movie "Remember the Titans."
