The Braves are 20-9-1 overall and in second place in the KCAC with a record of 10-2. Ottawa split is double header with Oklahoma Wesleyan University on Wednesday at the OKWU Softball Complex in Bartlesville, Okla. The Eagles won game one, 4-3, but the Braves bounced back to take game two, 3-2.
In the double header with OKWU, the Braves hit .216, scored six runs, had 11 hits, two doubles, one home run, had a .314 slugging percentage, walked seven times, was hit by a pitch once, had a .317 on base percentage, struck out 17 times, and had one stolen base. The OU pitching staff had a 2.69 ERA, striking out seven in 13 innings. OKWU had a .216 batting average in the double header.

The University of Saint Mary is 16-16 overall and is tied for third place in the KCAC with a record of 9-5. USM is 8-11 at home this season and enters Saturday's game coming off a 4-2 win over Friends University on Wednesday in Wichita.

USM is ranked 39th in the NAIA in home runs (17), 36th in sacrifice flies (9), and 36th in shutouts (6).
