GREAT BEND, Kan. – The Ottawa University baseball team fell 4-3 to Tabor College in its second game of the KCAC Tournament on Saturday night.
Tabor took the early lead in the bottom of the third, 1-0. The Bluejays extended their lead with one run in the bottom of the seventh and two in the bottom of the eighth, 4-0.
Ottawa tried to rally in the top of the ninth. Connor Jeffers hits a three run home run, scoring Carson Johnson and Zach Henry to cut into the Tabor lead, 4-3. Logan Zozaya reached first on a throwing error by the TC relief pitcher and OU had one on with two outs. That would be all the closer OU would be able to get to the Bluejays, falling 4-3.
Inside the Box Score
